The nation’s biggest abortion business promises to file suit against the new bill President Donald Trump signed that defund Planned Parenthood.
The recent passage of a major legislative bill signed by President Donald Trump on July 4, 2025, marks a significant victory in the effort to defund Planned Parenthood, the nation’s largest abortion company. The bill, described as a multitrillion-dollar tax and spending package, includes a provision that strips Planned Parenthood of federal funding for one year, a move celebrated by pro-life advocates as a step toward ending taxpayer support for an organization that kills babies every day,
Planned Parenthood’s CEO responded defiantly, vowing to sue the Trump administration, stating, “See you in court.”

They view Planned Parenthood’s legal threats as an attempt to preserve its financial lifeline while continuing to provide abortions, which they argue conflicts with the sanctity of life.
This defunding effort follows a recent Supreme Court ruling on June 26, 2025, which affirmed states’ rights to exclude Planned Parenthood from Medicaid programs, further emboldening pro-life efforts. The combination of legislative and judicial victories signals a robust push to limit Planned Parenthood’s influence, with pro-life supporters arguing that taxpayer money should not subsidize an organization tied to abortion, regardless of its other services.
