When I was a boy, most Boy Scout leaders were honorable men who only wanted to help teach boys a variety of skills and how to grow up to be a self-sufficient adult.
My dad was a Boy Scout troop leader and a district commissioner.
He taught swimming, lifesaving, canoeing, first aid, tracking and surviving in the outdoors.
According to reports of a soon to be released records, other scout leaders weren’t as honorable as my dad.
