ERLC Website Says Not to Preach Against Abortion from Pulpit OR at Clinic

A new blog post at the ERLC tells Christians not to preach against abortion from the pulpit, on the street corner, and not to use pro-life/anti-abortion bumper-stickers or slogans in social media. It is hurtful to women, they argue.

The Ethics and Religious Liberty Commission (ERLC) of the Southern Baptist Convention is supposed to represent the views of the nation’s largest Protestant denomination. However, it is run by a leftist political operative and former Democratic staffer, Russell Moore. In the ERLC’s latest attempt to steer evangelicalism to the left, its blog is now telling people not to preach against abortion, whether in the street or from behind the pulpit.
