Democrat Presidential candidate Joe Biden was hit with a Twitter backlash after declaring that “transgender equality is the civil rights issue of our time.”
The former Vice President of the United States was trying to make political hay after presidential competitor Senator Bernie Sanders boasted about support from comedian Joe Rogan who has previously made disparaging remarks about ‘transgender’ people.
